Every Man In His Order345humanity as long as you are alive (Romans 7:1). Does that meanChristians are subject to the letter or the legalism of The Law aslong as you live? No! Absolutely not! Paul continues:Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become deadto the law by the body of Christ; that ye should bemarried to another [Christ, with The New Covenant, not The Old Covenant], even to him who is raisedfrom the dead, that we should bring forth fruitunto God (Romans 7:4).The legal requirement of the letter of The Law allowed divorce(Deuteronomy 24:1). The woman could be sold as property forsexual purposes of reproduction. In this context, it would be helpfulto reread the chapter on ‘Marriage’ in God’s Puzzle Solved, regarding Satan’s system of marriage. Remember, the word inHebrew for “marriage” is the same as is found in The Law of Deuteronomy24:1. This word is “Baal.” You are dead by Christ’sdeath and, you are married to Jesus, The Groom, under God’s Lawof Love and are married forever. So the letter of The Law, withits legal works, is no longer required for Christians. Christ diedfor all mankind. But what is it that must die only once for you tobe married to Christ?Romans 7:5-6 states that when you live by the flesh (Greek “sarx”or “beastly”) the desire of sin, which The Law demanded, willwork in your members unto death. The wages of sin is death (Romans6:23). You are delivered from death by The Law becauseyou are dead. The Law no longer has any legal requirement foryou (Verse 6). Why is this? From now on, you are directed toserve it in the newness of “spirit” (pneuma) and not according tothe oldness of The Letter. There it is. It is a spiritual matter andnot a physical or fleshly matter.
