Many people tend to say, “Well, he was just born that way.”They may also charge that “it’s in your genes.” This may be trueto a point, but with your individual “mind,” you can always makea choice about whether to follow the weakness of your flesh ornot. That is what REPENTANCE is all about. In The Lake ofFire, the body and the flesh are as wood, hay and stubble. Theywill burn up quickly. The pain of the body lasts only a very shorttime. Then, the body becomes as ashes under someone’s feet.The body and flesh disappear quite quickly. Consider the richman who was resurrected from hades or the grave. He quicklyREPENTED and did not need to receive too many stripes.The Very WickedNow, consider the very wicked. The extremely wicked ones willhave the judgment quickly when their bodies burn. But it goesbeyond that. Their individual consciousness must remain in thefire or torment until “the spirit” (pneuma) - is changed. This issomewhat comparable to the judgment placed upon the demons.In other words, the extremely wicked will have already repentedand their minds will be pure. All that remains will be like finegold that lasts forever. Now, a new body “a spiritual body” isgiven to them (I Corinthians 15). This, also, means that “death”is “SWALLOWED UP IN VICTORY.” These extreme, wickedpeople must become like little children “babes in Christ.” Then,Christ will defeat all his enemies, along with death, itself. Afterward,Christ gives “the kingdom” over to God, so that Godmay be all and in all, just as God was, in the beginning before Heproduced His creation.Since God has reproduced Himself from all that God was, is andwill be, you will now see the end result.
