From this point on, as Christians, no religioussystem (human effort) would ever be acceptable to God.Pure ReligionIn James 1:27, The Apostle taught that the only religion Godwould accept would be a pure and undefiled one. Nothing youmay accomplish by your “works” will make you acceptable toGod. Christianity is not a religion - rather it is “a way of life.”The way is to follow God’s Son, Jesus, The Christ. In John 14:6,Christ said that He is the way, the truth and the life. Being aChristian is a way of living.
