334 God’s Workhad plans to make humanity perfect.Because of God’s abundant love, He will give “all” that is withinHimself. God could not have chosen to give anything greaterthan what God Himself is - and has. There is no greater love thanHis giving everything He has to you. This is total and completelove. Nothing has ever or can ever surpass it. God predestinedor predetermined you to be one of His very children by adoption.Paul said in his letter to The Church at Ephesus, “… 5 Having predestinatedus unto the adoption of children…” and “… 11 beingpredestinated according to the purpose of him who workethall things after the counsel of his own will…” (Ephesians 1:5,11).Since God made you human - but not yet spirit as He is - Godhad to adopt you from a human heritage in order for you to becomea spiritual Son. Since God wanted to give all that He is, theonly perfect way to do this was to give of His own “being” - Hisvery Holy Spirit. God wanted all of you to become just as He is,and to be all and in all in your very “being.” When everything inheaven and earth is subdued under God, then His Son Jesus Christwill be subject to Him. When all things are put under Christ, thenfinally God will be all and in all (I Corinthians 15:28). God’spurpose is to reproduce Himself so that everything He createdwill be holy and perfect - just as He is Holy and perfect. Godplans to give all that He is to you and to every child He has evercreated. How God Is All In AllCarefully study each verse in Ephesians 1:3-14. Do this meditatively– which is a penetrating exercise of “thought.” Now, try toplace what Paul is saying into a deeply perceptive state of mind.
