162 God’s Workof all mankind. Not very much has been written about this secondresponsibility. These are two different roles, which Jesus Christmust fulfill. The UnforgivenGod’s Holy Days only serve as a shadow or a picture, of what willcome in the future (Colossians 2:16-17). The Holy Day calledThe Last Great Day of The Feast, Jesus stood up and cried out, saying, “If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink”(John 7:37). This text has been associated with “the waters oflife” (See Isaiah 12:3 and Isaiah 55:1).Notice further what Jesus said, “…out of his belly [Greek: ‘innermostbeing’] shall flow rivers of living water” (John 7:38).What is this water of life? Jesus revealed that in The Last GreatDay of The Feast, God’s Holy Spirit will be made available at thattime, TO EVERYONE (John 7:38-39). These are “the livingwaters.” When does this occur? The Bible shows how The Holy Days reveal God’s plans for thefuture. The last Holy Day foreshadows God’s earthly purpose atthe end time when every aspect will be brought into fulfillment. This corresponds to the time when Jesus foretold that The HolySpirit will be made available to everyone (Revelation 22:1-2).This is the basic reason why it can be stated that, “…at the nameof Jesus every knee should bow… And that every tongue shouldconfess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father”(Philippians 2:10-11). It does not say they unwillingly bowed theirknees, but rather the text shows a willing admission of Lordshipover them. There is no knee, nor will, that is too strong for God tobring them into willing submission to His “will.”
