Chapter 10Can Christians LoseTheir Salvation?The Apostle Paul said, “For as in Adam alldie, even so in Christ shall all be made alive” (ICorinthians 15:22). Paul explained that all thechildren born from Adam and Eve will die - andyet all will be made alive (saved) in Christ. Howcan this be? Paul left no doubt about the identityof the “all” that will be “saved.” The answer isthat “everyone” in Christ, will be “saved.” Canyou believe that claim? What are the implicationsof all humanity being made alive at some futurepoint in time?Unforgiven SinTo some, those bold introductory statements may seem beyondbelief. Yet this is exactly what Paul stated in his first letter to TheCorinthians. This phenomenon has been called by some “UniversalReconciliation” (I Corinthians 15:22). It holds to the notionthat God is ultimately able to save every human being. Thisconcept is so important in its overall implications, that you mustcarefully evaluate the possibilities.
