256 God’s WorkYou are no longer a slave to anyone, including your own carnalnature. In this life, you are a slave (Greek - “doulos”) allowingyour total human life to be mastered by Jesus Christ. Whenyou are glorified as Christ and God, The Father, you become atotally-free “being” as His Sons and Daughters (II Corinthians6:18). You will no longer be a slave to anyone. You are no longerin bondage. You can, then, do whatever you choose. God knowsthat since He is all and in all, you will always choose to do only“good.” This is so, because The Law is now written in your heartand mind. Your way of thinking, as well as your motivations anddesires, will be to do only “good” - since God has made you“perfect” - just as He is “perfect.” This can only happen if yousubmit to His Will to become like Him - with His Law writtenin your nature, being and heart. Then, and only then, is The Lawtruly spiritual (Romans 2:14-15).SummaryBiblically, it is proved that today the observance of The Letter ofThe Law is not required for Christians. The written Law is onlya shadow of The New Covenant (Hebrews 10:1). Only keepingThe Law spiritually pleases God and this grants you the gift ofsalvation.The Letter of The Law, The Torah, with all its legalism of works,does absolutely nothing to please God (Romans 8:8). The Holyand righteous purpose of The Law was given as a means to convertpeople – or lead them to Christ.
