How clear and how plain.But, there is even more proof, in Matthew 5:18, Christ said, “Forverily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or onetittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”The Greek word is “pleroo” and not “poieo.” Jesus is saying TheLaw is a shadow of things to come about Him and every singlepart of The Law refers to The Christ to come (Hebrews 10:1).Now, you have absolute biblical proof that not “one jot,” or “onetittle” will pass from The Law (at least, until the new heavenand new earth). So, The Law in The Old Covenant and The NewCovenant is not done away until God, Himself comes to the earthand establishes The New Heaven and New Earth. There is moreproof that The Law is not done away.The Old And New CovenantThe question of The Law is really resolved by understanding thedifference between The Old Covenant and The New Covenant.Contrary to the belief of many, The Old Covenant is not The OldScriptures, as many refer to it. The Old Covenant and The OldTestament are one and the same. Both are only a part of The OldScriptures or The Old Testament. In fact, The Old Covenant isonly a part of the Law or Torah. It was added to The Torah orLaw. This added part became part of The Whole Law. This becamethe entire Old Covenant. A “testament” is a “will” whicha death has put in force. Read all of Hebrews 9, where withoutshedding of blood, a “will” cannot be enforced. Since The Lawor Torah is only a shadow of things to come, only animal sacrificewas needed for the blood. This enforced The Old Covenantor the legal requirements of The Law. The Letter of The Lawimposed the death penalty, when a capital crime was committed.So, The Old Covenant was not The Old Scriptures, but a covenant
