Chapter 4God’s JudgmentIn John 7:24, Jesus warned you not to judgeaccording to the appearance, but to judge“righteous judgment.” What is God’s “righteousjudgment?” Christ warned that you should notcondemn, accuse or put people on trial by howone’s perceived guilt might appear. The Lawof God demands that two or three “witnesses”give “testimony” before anyone can be judged(Matthew 18:16 and Deuteronomy 19:15).Jesus reinforced the statement above, when He said, “Judge not,that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, yeshall be judged…” (Matthew 7:1). That text means that if yougo about accusing people about how they seem to appear, withouthaving two or three witnesses, you, yourself, will be judged moreseverely.In The Day of Judgment, you will be judged in the same way thatyou judged others.
