Holy Days – A Shadow305remainder of the world is to be saved. This accomplishment isrepresented by The Fall Holy Days - or Feasts. These celebrationscover the last individuals who could have been first (as Israel).This group includes “the rest of the world,” as well.The Shadow Of The Spring FeastThe Seventh Day Sabbath and all The Holy Day Sabbaths representa time when God offered “His rest in Christ.” Remember,The Sabbath and Holy Days are only shadows - not real. Thesedays are represented as Christ “In You.” Christians and therefore,you, as a Christian, are in God’s rest because you received God’sHoly Spirit (Hebrews 3 and 4). So, all these Holy Days (shadows)represent God’s total plan of salvation, showing how God,through His Son Jesus, “saves the world” (I John 4:14). TrueChristians are already within God’s Seventh Day rest because youhave inherited The Holy Spirit. The keeping of The Seventh Dayas a shadow or Sabbath is no longer required. Christians are thereal “Sabbatarians” - because you daily do good works - just asChrist tried to teach The Pharisees (Hebrews 3 and 4).The process to bring Christians to Jesus is revealed as a shadow,from Passover to Pentecost. At Pentecost, Christians receivedGod’s Holy Spirit and then entered into the reality of God’s rest.You are now heirs or inheritors of God’s kingdom. You no longerneed to keep the shadow of The Holy Days. This is becauseChristians have already inherited God’s promise. To continue tofollow legal works, which is only a shadow of the real, is to denythat Jesus has already completed this part of The Law for you.The entire context of Paul’s Epistle (in his own hand) to The Galatianswas done because Paul said those Christians were returningto keeping days and years. This applies to keeping either pagandays or God’s Holy Days. Either way - it is a false gospel.
