160 God’s Worka topic that eventually leads to the subject of forgiveness on aneternal basis:Matthew 12:31-32 “ 31 Wherefore I say untoyou, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall beforgiven unto men: but the blasphemy againstthe Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.32And whosoever speaketh a word against the Sonof man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoeverspeaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not beforgiven him, neither in this world, neither in theworld to come.”Jesus Himself states, “there can be no forgiveness when a personsins against God’s Holy Spirit.” Once an individual has receivedGod’s Holy Spirit and finds out how they should live and ifthey refuse to follow God’s Holy Spirit - they will not be forgivenin this life - or in the life to come. Thus it seems that not everyonewill be saved. Furthermore, this instruction does not excludesome Christians who have failed this test. There is an additionalwarning that is added to those frightening words just quoted:Hebrews 10:26-27 26 For if we sin willfully afterthat we have received the knowledge of the truth,there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But acertain fearful looking for of judgment and fieryindignation, which shall devour the adversaries.What does it mean? How can anyone, such as this, ever be saved?Going one step further in setting the conditions for this, Paul statesthe following:I Corinthians 6:9-10 9 Know ye not that the
