Can Christians Lose Their Salvation?161unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom ofGod? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, noridolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, norabusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, norextortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.This is very serious, considering the consequence appears to beon an eternal basis. What will these people do? Will they be lostforever? Or is there some means whereby they may become ultimatelysaved? Before considering the implications of that suggestion, you need to probe the words of Christ further:Luke 12:46 The lord of that servant will comein a day when he looketh not for him, and at anhour when he is not aware, and will cut him insunder, and will appoint him his portion with theunbelievers.Another stern warning about the serious consequences of goingagainst “the will” of God. As a result, there are those who willnot be forgiven for their sins now - or in the world to come. Those who don’t repent will not be forgiven. Jesus explainedhow those Christians who are not constantly watching for The Returnof Christ, will also be considered as “unbelievers.” Clearly, there are those who will not be forgiven their sins. Christians, who will be classed as unbelievers in The Time of Judgment, willbe burned up along with the wicked. Therefore, by all appearances,Christians can lose their salvation. IF THIS IS SO -HOW CAN EVERYONE BE SAVED? To answer this question, you need to know that God, The Father, gave Christ two basicresponsibilities. First, and foremost, Jesus is The Savior andRedeemer. Secondly, Christ’s responsibility is to be The Judge
