You should be mighty in The Scriptures, because it isGod’s “word.” Now you know that Apollos, “…came to Ephesus.25 This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; andbeing fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently thethings of the Lord, knowing [what]? only the baptism of John.”He didn’t know about Jesus and The Holy Spirit. He was onlybaptized in The Baptism of John, which was to repent and put todeath all the negative pulls of the human flesh.That is all Apollos knew. But because he was mighty in TheScriptures, he was already preaching. He had the gift of “communicationskills.” You read, “ 26 And he began to speak boldlyin the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard,they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way ofGod more perfectly.” This shows that he knew the repentanceof John. Here is a critical observation.
