So Christ stepped in, on everyone’sbehalf and paid humanity’s full penalty for all their sins.Christ took Christians’ place before Pilate by paying the full penaltyof all the sins of the world (I John 4:14). As “prince of thisworld,” this was Satan’s final attempt to accuse humanity for theirsins. Satan did his best to keep Jesus from being The Savior.But Christ remained faithful to glorify and show His Father’sgoodness in order to win over Satan and the final phase of TheRoman Empire.
