In other words, their very inner position, their desire,their will and their intent is to feel right in their own eyes. These are people who are satisfiedwith the knowledge they already have.It sounds just like Job’s problem. Job was righteous until herealized that only God could do everything. Job was going tohold onto his own righteousness. In like manner, Moses told ThePharisees and Sadducees that they would receive their righteousnessfrom The Law (Deuteronomy 6:25).
