As the lastbook in The Bible, many ask if it is fact or fiction.This book is in The Bible for a specific reason.Every part of God’s Word is inspired by God (IITimothy 3:16). Therefore, The Book of Revelationis, indeed, inspired. As a consequence, it has asignificant Purpose. This is why The ApostleJohn included it as a part of the totality of God’s“word.” You may ask, “Why was The Book ofRevelation written?”In The BeginningThe birth of The New Testament church started on The Day ofPentecost after Jesus went to sit on the right hand of God, TheFather, as The High Priest and Savior. Three thousand peoplewere baptized on that Day of Pentecost.Not too long afterward, the church had five thousand membersjust counting the men (Acts 4:4). At this time all these individualswere Jews. The Gentiles didn’t come into the church until Peteropened the door to God’s “kingdom” to Cornelius, who was thefirst Gentile - a Roman centurion soldier.
