Since Peter believed thatChrist’s return could be thousands of years away, The Apostleswanted to guarantee that future Christians would have a very accuratesource of truth as this “falling away” would continue untilthe very Return of Christ.In short, this was in God’s “overall” plan. So, “the falling awayfrom the truth” or “The Man of Sin” must be revealed. Besides,God must then finish calling all Gentiles to the truth. Until allthese events take place, Christ will not return. Therefore, it wasnecessary to make The New Testament a part of The Complete Biblein order to keep true Christians in the faith.
