Holy Days – A Shadow311that since they did not keep The Seventh Year Sabbath, then thepromised land would keep The Seventh Year “rest” for “seventyyears” before they were allowed to come back to Jerusalem (IIChronicles 36:21).During The Return of Jesus, The Promised Land will have hadits rest - and then Christ will bring back all of The Israelites fromaround the earth to enjoy The Promised Land’s rest. This is duringthe time known as The Millennium. This one-thousand-yearperiod is known as The Time of Restoration when Christ and Hischurch will bring all of Israel, as a nation, to repentance whenthey take the first step by keeping The Law which will finallybring them to Christ (Galatians 3:24).Feast Of TabernaclesNow there are two more “feasts” to be discussed. These are, also,a shadow or a type of how God will save Israel and the rest ofthe world. In the parable of the penny, where the farmer hiredlaborers to harvest his fields and he hired different workers atdifferent times until the eleventh hour when the harvest would benearly completed. In each case, no matter how long they labored,each received the same amount of money (Matthew 20:1-16).Each laborer represented a type of an individual Christ is saving,even those who only labored an hour before the harvest was completed.This is the end of the second harvest - The Great FallHarvest. Until those workers who were hired in the eleventh hourhad finished their task, they could still be saved before the harvestended. Those who were called in the eleventh hour had to workuntil the job was completed at the end of the twelfth hour. Allthose hired before the eleventh hour could be redeemed by Jesuson Pentecost.
