ThisFeast Day is called The Feast of Trumpets.Feast Of TrumpetsWhat does The Feast of Trumpets foreshadow? All Feasts pointto Christ. Leviticus 23:24-25 declares that in this Seventh Month,in The First Day of The Month, Israel shall have a Sabbath, a memorialof Blowing of Trumpets. It is a holy convocation - and nowork can be done. What does this Holy Day, a shadow of things tocome, actually mean in relationship to Jesus? Paul describes TheReturn of Christ (I Thessalonians 4:14-18). When He returns,this event is represented by The Feast of Trumpets. Paul said thatThe Trumpet of God shall sound with the archangel’s voice andthe “dead in Christ” [Christians] shall rise first. Those Christianswho are alive will be changed in “the twinkling of an eye.”Paul said this Feast of Trumpets represents Christ’s return.
