Holy Days – A Shadow307The Jubilee is a time of complete liberty - just as salvation - andevery man is returned to his inheritance (Leviticus 25:10). If andwhen you get into debt (or sin), then the land will be returned toyou (Leviticus 25:24). It is the same for Christians as they will beforgiven for all their sins by their redemption. Then, Verses 25 to28 declares how this land can be redeemed. Sinners have a redeemer,Jesus Christ. Jesus, as an Elder Brother, saved you fromsin, by His death. Leviticus 25:48-49 states that a family membercan “redeem” you. You are bought back before The Jubilee orWhite Throne Judgment. Christians will not be judged during TheWhite Throne Judgment.Christians are being judged NOW and released by Jesus buyingthem back - and, therefore, becoming His property as slaves or“doulos.” This is the meaning of the shadow of Pentecost. Youare saved in The Spring Harvest as the first fruits in God’s earlyharvest (James 1:18).The Rest Of The WorldIt is clear that the keeping of The Holy Days for carnal, unconvertedpeople is necessary. Even though Israel sinned at MountSinai - and God wanted to destroy all but The Tribe of Levi - yet,His love and final judgment was just not to let them enter God’spromised rest (Hebrews 3 and 4). However, the giving of TheLetter of The Law turned out to be an excellent loving gestureon God’s part. In reminding them constantly of their sins, theschoolmaster would, eventually, bring them to Christ (Galatians3:24).Paul in Romans 7 and 8 clearly covers how The Law, as a shadow,brings one to conversion. Once converted, a person, whether Israeliteor Gentile, now becomes a spiritual Israelite - and an Heir
