202 God’s Workof the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles befulfilled. 25 And there shall be signs in the sun, andin the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earthdistress of nations, with perplexity; the sea andthe waves roaring; 26 Men’s hearts failing them forfear, and for looking after those things which arecoming on the earth: for the powers of heavenshall be shaken. 27 And then shall they see the Sonof man coming in a cloud with power and greatglory. 28 And when these things begin to come topass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for yourredemption draweth nigh.Earmark this verse as it is a critical sign. Everything prior to Verse24 has already happened. “ 24 And they shall fall by the edge ofthe sword” Who is this? It concerns everything in Judea in 70A.D. Let them who are in this city flee to the hills. It is talkingabout Jerusalem. Jesus is talking about The Herodian Temple.Therefore, the reader should recognize that these things have alreadyhappened. “ 24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword,and shall be led away captive into all nations: [The Jews willexperience this] and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of theGentiles” [The Jews will disperse].” Ever since this time, this landhas been in a state of turmoil and war. How long does this continue?It will be, “until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.”That is the only event that Christ can tell you about before Hisreturn. Everything prior to this has already happened. And whatis the time of the trial of The Gentiles? Paul tells you that itis the time when God finishes calling all The Gentiles to “thetruth.” When is that? To determine the answer, you must ask,“What did Christ say?” “No one knows the times or season, but
