Location: Gardens Point campus<br />

Course Duration: 1 year full-time, 2 years part-time<br />

Total Credit Points: 96<br />

Standard Credit Points/Full-Time Semester: 48<br />

Tuition Fees (Domestic Students): $142 per credit point for day/evening classes (fees for short-courses<br />

and resource-based learning units available on application to School of Electrical and Electronic Systems<br />

Engineering) plus a $1000 thesis supervision charge<br />

Entry Requirements<br />

(i) a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and at least second class Honours with a study of power<br />

subjects to third year level, or<br />

(ii) students with the degree qualification, but who do not have second class Honours may transfer from<br />

the Graduate Diploma (Electricity Supply) after completing 48 credit points with a grade point average<br />

(GPA) of 5.0 or greater<br />

(iii) students seeking admission to Master of Engineering Science will only be enrolled if they have a firm<br />

offer of a supervised industry placement.<br />
