This degree is recognised for the purpose of membership of the Institution of Engineers, Australia.<br />

Special Course Requirements<br />

A candidate for the degree of Bachelor of Engineering must obtain at least 60 days of industrial employment<br />

in an engineering environment approved by the Course Coordinator.<br />

Candidates must, not later than the fourth week of semester immediately following each period of industrial<br />

experience, submit to the Faculty Office, a report in the required format, describing the work carried out<br />

during the period of experience and including an Industrial Experience Record Form signed by the employer.<br />

Industrial Experience Record Forms are available from outside the Faculty Office, Room 1006, ITE Building,<br />

Gardens Point campus.<br />

Students should not formally enrol in industrial employment.<br />
