Advanced Standing
Advanced standing of two years full-time or its equivalent part-time will be granted to students entering the
course who have completed the equivalent of two years of full-time tertiary study in a discipline area
demonstrably relevant to the career path pursued by the applicant, or other studies and work experience
considered equivalent by the University.
Course Structure
The structure of this course is comprised of units from three strands of study, namely Education Studies,
Curriculum Studies, and Professional Practice.
Students must complete 72 credit points of Education Studies, 72 credit points of Curriculum Studies and
48 credit points of Professional Practice.
