Entry requirements<br />

To be eligible for admission, an applicant must:<br />

(i) hold an appropriate degree or Diploma of Teaching (or equivalent)<br />

(ii) have a minimum of two years’ successful teaching experience<br />

(iii) be recommended by their employing authority as having general personal suitability to fulfil the<br />

resource/support teacher duties.<br />

If numbers are insufficient to offer full-time classes, students will be able to study the course by a combination<br />

of evening and external study within one year.<br />

Part-Time (Evening and External) Course Structure<br />

While all units are to be offered each year, students studying in the part-time and external modes are<br />

advised to enrol in the two-year cycle shown below if seeking to complete the course in minimum time.<br />

Those not pursuing course completion in minimum time may choose appropriate units as available.<br />
