Human Resource Management Major (HRM)<br />

Professional Recognition<br />

This major satisfies the academic requirements for membership of the Australian Human Resources Institute,<br />

the Australian Institute of Management and the Australian Institute of Training and Development. Maximum<br />

time credit towards chartered membership grading of the Australian Human Resources Institute can be<br />

achieved by completion of several additional units or by completion of the extended major in Human<br />

Resource Management.<br />

Graduates who complement their Human Resource Major with an Industrial Relations Specialisation are<br />

eligible to join the Industrial Relations Society and the Australian Human Resources Institute.<br />

The Royal Institute of Public Administration Australia acknowledges the appropriateness of the Public<br />

Sector Management specialisation for the study of Public Sector Management. Subject to the choice of<br />
