Tumores das glândulas digestivas
Muitos tumores malignos do fígado derivam do parênq uima hepático
ou das células epiteliais dos duetos biliares. A patogênese do carcínoma
hepatocelular não está totalmente esclarecida, mas acredita-se
que esteja associada a diversos distúrbios adquiridos, como, por exemplo,
hepatite virai crônica (B ou C), cirrose etc. No pâncreas exócrino,
muitos tumores originam-se das células epiteliais dos duetos; a taxa de
mortalidade associada a esses tumores pancreáticos é elevada.
