Bremen bewegt Wissen
Logistik lernen –
lückenlos!
Learning logistics –
in its entirety!
Logistik will gelernt sein. Nirgendwo sonst gibt es dafür so
umfassende Voraussetzungen wie in Bremen.
Logistics has to be learnt. Nowhere else offers such comprehensive
prerequisites as Bremen.
This is no exaggeration: Bremen and Bremerhaven are
excellent places to learn logistics from A to Z, offering an
impressive accumulation of initial and advanced training
facilities for the logistics industry and covering all possible
facets. From state education facilities via numerous quali -
fication providers through to scientific institutions, there is a
wide range of possibilities to get fit for the various levels of
logistics.
Vocational training is still the traditional entry level for
working in the industry. Germany’s successful system of dual
training with practical elements on the job and theory at
vocational college is meanwhile replicated all over the world.
Three vocational colleges have been working successfully
der Logistik verändert.“
kopiert. Seit Jahrzehnten leisten drei Berufsschulen in enger
with the employers for decades. These are the vocational
college for wholesale, foreign trade and transport (BSGAV) in
Utbremen, the vocational schools for the retail sector in the
Vahr and the commercial colleges in Bremerhaven. “Rapid
technical change has transformed many jobs in the logistics
sector. The vocational colleges address these developments
with all due care and attention to ensure their students
acquire the necessary skills”, says Dr. Thorbjörn Ferber, ad -
visor for initial and advanced training at Bremen Chamber of
Commerce. “Needless to say that they also need to be
suitably well equipped. Unfortunately there is always a considerably
backlog in this respect.”
