OOCL ist eine der weltweit größten Reedereien der Containerschifffahrt
inklusive verschiedener Logistikdienstleistungen mit mehr als
280 Büros in 58 Ländern. Jährlich bewegen die Schiffe von OOCL
rund 6,7 Mio. TEU auf 145 Liniendiensten. Der Jahresumsatz beträgt
rund 6,4 Mrd. US-Dollar. OOCL Deutschland repräsentiert mit den
Niederlassungen in Bremen und Hamburg die Akti vitäten der
Unternehmensgruppe in Deutschland, Österreich, Tschechien und
der Slowakei. Außerdem ist OOCL Deutschland das Headoffice
der europäischen Büros in Dänemark, Schweden, Finnland, Polen
und Russland. Im OOCL Headquarter für Nordeuropa in Bremen
werden alle Leitungsfunktionen der europäischen Dependancen
gebündelt. OOCL ist besonders an der Ausbildung und Förderung
der eigenen Fach- und Führungskräfte interessiert und beschäftigt
aktuell insgesamt 16 Auszubildende (13 in Bremen, 3 in Hamburg).
Die jungen Nachwuchskräfte werden bei OOCL sofort an alle
Aufgaben des Berufsbildes herangeführt. Eine Verbindung von
Ausbildung und Studium bietet OOCL auch in Zusammenarbeit
mit dem Bremer Institut für Handel und Verkehr (BIHV) mit dem
Bachelorabschluss „Business Administration“.

US Dollar. OOCL Germany with offices in Bremen and Hamburg
represents the group’s activities in Germany, Austria, the Czech
Republic and Slovakia. OOCL Germany is also the headquarters for
the European offices in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Poland and
Russia. All management functions for the European offices are
pooled at OOCL headquarters for Northern Europe in Bremen.
OOCL gives particular priority to training and promoting its own
skilled workers and senior executives, and currently has altogether
16 trainees (13 in Bremen, 3 in Hamburg). The young talents are
introduced immediately to all the tasks involved in their specific
vocation at OOCL. The company also offers an opportunity to
combine vocational training with a Bachelor degree in business
adminis tration, working in cooperation with the Bremen Institute
for Trade and Transport (BIHV).
