110 Timeless Rapture
I am a wanderer in this empty, illusory body.
That is what the spiritual master of my own mind has said.
My mental body is the Conqueror’s body.
It accomplishes all goals by thought alone.
I am a wanderer in this empty, illusory body.
That is what the spiritual master of my own mind has said.
My body of habitual patterns is the Conqueror’s body.
It accomplishes all goals by thought alone.
I am a wanderer in this empty, illusory body.
That is what the spiritual master of my own mind has said.
From cultivating that experience,
Enlightenment’s three bodies arise like this:
Ultimate enlightenment’s body, the meaning of the innate state,
Is free from formulation.
Its essence cannot be identified.
Its characteristics surpass the intellect’s bounds.
That is the essence of ultimate enlightenment.
From this enlightenment, pure like space,
Two form bodies appear,
Like wish-fulfilling trees or jewels.
Until existence empties,
They continually work for others’ benefit.
To bodhisattvas on awakening’s tenth stage,
Enlightenment’s body of rapture appears,
Adorned with the marks and signs of physical perfection.
To such beings as ordinary individuals
And impure disciples, such as Listeners,
Appearances of the manifest body arise.
The inseparable integration of these three bodies
Is called the body of enlightenment’s great bliss.
I possess Illusory Body’s instructions
That lead to maturity and liberation.
