354 Timeless Rapture
lineage, recollection, and retrieval of reconcealed treasures.
You thus gained dominion of the seven precious transmissions.
Leader of the Teachings, to you I pray.
You mastered your own experience and awed others with your
brilliance.
You effortlessly accomplished the four kinds of enlightened activity.
Dakinis, guardians, and forceful arrogant spirits
Did as you commanded; to you I pray.
Your innumerable vast and profound teachings
Brought millions of fortunate persons to spiritual maturity and liberation.
You lived an inconceivable, exalted life of freedom.
Paragon of compassion, to you I pray.
By the force of my single-minded prayers of undivided respect,
From this lifetime forward until I reach awakening,
May I not be separate from you, sublime, illustrious master;
May you accept me and may I realize your life of freedom.
May I rely upon you in the three ways to please you;
May I attain your enlightened mind’s essence and reach the end of my
experiential cultivation.
After I complete the noble qualities of awakening’s paths and stages,
May I accomplish powerful Buddha Vajra Bearer’s state.
May obstacles not arise in my spiritual practice consistent with the
Teachings;
And with the mastery that I attain in the doctrine of scripture and
realization,
May I spread the powerful Sage’s doctrine throughout the world
To become, like you, a sovereign of the Teachings.
