Wherever you live is a pure land,
And your every companion is a deity of appearance-emptiness.
Om Svasti
Namo Guru
A Sea of Blessings 201
By the blessing of the Three Roots, the spiritual master, and
protector,
And by the force of our conduct in the splendid sea of the two
accumulations,
May all those gathered here have long lives free from sickness,
And may we not be separated for an instant until we reach
awakening!
May the fortress of our enemies, the eight worldly concerns, be
demolished from its foundations,
May we know food, wealth, and possessions to be like magical
illusions,
May we be freed from the chains that bind us to friends and family—
May we reach the capital city of our Oral Instruction Lineage
ancestors!
May we not harbor pride of rank or learning,
May we never wish to compete with those above us or have contempt
for those below,
May we never entertain thoughts of the five poisons that kill the life
force of freedom—
May our minds turn toward awakening!
In secluded mountain hollows, in a fathomless wilderness,
Having left worldly affairs far behind,
May we live relaxed and joyful, content with what comes our way,
Treasuring only the essence of our own minds!
With the lifestyle of acting like small children, without attachment,
And not moving from the inexpressible meaning that transcends the
intellect,
