High and low, near or far, [blend the meditation with] spiritual
activity, mantra, sound, and indeterminate behavior.
These constitute tranquillity meditation, concentration.
Search for the arising or cessation of an essence, an objective
appearance, and thoughts.
For each, make a special search for existence or nonexistence, a total
of six topics.
Certainty that the mind’s nature is the absolute expanse is the
seventh.
With insight meditation, place the introduction to the mind’s nature
in your heart.
These are the eighteen methods of meditation on the three modes of
natural repose.

It’s so close—you don’t recognize it.
It’s so deep—you don’t grasp it.
It’s so easy—you don’t believe it.
It’s so noble—you don’t comprehend it.

Now, ultimate enlightenment, enlightenment’s perfect rapture, and
the manifest body
Emerge from the hollow of the mind’s clarity, emptiness, and their
union.
The three bodies’ inseparability is enlightenment’s essential body.
They are complete in the display of mind’s awareness-emptiness.
Its inner glow is expressed in devotion, compassion, and skillful
means.
Skillful means blend circulating energy and the phase of creation in
unison,
Tools to produce an immense enrichment of experience.
If obstacles emerge, use two techniques to dispel them.
