76 Timeless Rapture
They’ll turn back the demons’ attack.
Now, ghouls, do as you please!
This evil curse is really out of control!
For it, I have teachings of the flat, black stone.
They’ll turn back the curse’s attack.
Now, evil curse, do as you please!
This evil Lord of Death is really out of control!
For him, I have teachings on the skeleton’s liberation.
They’ll turn back Lord of Death’s attack.
Now, Lord of Death, do as you please!
These evil planetary spirits are really out of control!
For them, I have teachings in the circle of the tortoise.
They’ll turn back the planetary spirits’ attack.
Now, Vishnu’s forms, do as you please!
Previously, you didn’t bless your voice,
Thus your recitation of mantras did not produce any power.
For this, I have teachings in the glorious A-li Ka-li.
Now have no fear that you won’t accomplish the mantra.
Then Kyungpo Naljor went with three thousand disciples to Shang,
where beginning at Zhang-Zhong, they constructed 108 monastic centers
in the course of three years. When Kyungpo Naljor turned the Teachings’
great wheel, fifty thousand monks assembled from central, western, and
eastern Tibet. During this time, the majority became distracted; they disregarded
study and meditation. Kyungpo Naljor took them sightseeing; he
emanated many entertaining and enticing gods and goddesses of the
Heaven of the Thirty-Three. The monks were delighted and became
attached to them. Then he emanated many death demons whose work
was to kill and to chop up [bodies], causing the monks to become terrified,
panic, and faint. Kyungpo Naljor then sang this song to introduce the
nature of reality:
