264 Timeless Rapture
You traveled to the sacred places of Willow Leaf and Oddiyana,
Where Lord of Secrets and yoginis gave you empowerments.
They bestowed secret tantras, and instruction in blazing and
gathering.
You mastered any meditative state you desired; to you I pray.
Tanglha, Shampo, Unheated,
And other great, powerful gods offered you their heart vitality
mantras.
You gave them empowerment, bound them with oaths, and installed
them as the doctrine’s guardians.
Sublime, glorious Héruka, to you I pray.
In the fertile earth of your disciples from central, western, and eastern
Tibet,
Méutön Drimé formed the trunk of transcendent knowledge;
Yorpo Gyamo, the spreading branches of altruism;
Ngultön Rinwang, the flourishing leaves of compassion;
Latö Könkar, the gorgeous flowers of loving-kindness;
Zhangom Chöseng, the essential sap of luminosity;
And Mokchok, the ripened fruit of Illusory Body and Lucid Dream.
As masters and dakinis predicted,
These were the six ultimate disciples equal to you,
Leaders of the ultimate congregation, one hundred eighty thousand
persons,
Whom you taught and brought to spiritual maturity over a number
of years.
At the end of your ultimate life span, one hundred fifty years,
The Four Classes of Great Kings, the king of celestial musicians, and
many other worldly beings
Pleaded with you not to transcend suffering.
You compassionately considered their request
And gave them teaching and prophecies; to you I pray.
Buddha Boundless Light displayed the design of the pure land of
Great Bliss
