272 Timeless Rapture
From Könkar, Yorpo, Dorjé Gyal, and other masters,
You received many source texts’ profound instructions, mainly of the
transcendent perfection of knowledge.
In particular, the great, accomplished master Kyungpo accepted you
as his disciple.
You pleased him in many ways; to you I pray.
Not withholding anything, Kyungpo gave you every profound
instruction
He received from his four root masters, to whom he offered gold.
Further, he gave you his single-disciple transmission.
You always saw his body as that of the tantric deities; to you I pray.
You actualized illusionlike absorption.
You knew the one that liberates all; your wisdom’s display unfolded.
You tamed all evil spirits
And made many beings happy; to you I pray.
You saw the face of Buddha Immutable, the two wisdom dakinis,
Indrabodhi, Vajra Yogini,
And in particular Héruka—
They gave you deep and vast sacred Teachings; to you I pray.
When you arrived in the presence of the incomparable Dakpo,
Gampopa,
He said that you had been his disciple-child in many lifetimes; he
treated you lovingly.
He led you to direct sight of ultimate enlightenment’s naked body.
Your realization and liberation occurred simultaneously; to you I pray.
Gampopa entrusted you with the transmission of Great Seal’s lineage.
Your meditative states’ power became complete.
From that point forth, for as long as you lived, you never thought of
this life.
Bodhisattva in your final life, to you I pray.
For twelve years at Mokchok Cliff,
You renounced human food and practiced single-mindedly.
