280 Timeless Rapture
Your clinging to appearances as real collapsed.
Your meditative states’ great creative power reached perfection; to you
I pray.
All-Seeing One continually granted you sacred Teachings.
The Five Tantras’ Deities gave you instruction in the profound
meaning.
Many accomplished masters and dakinis taught you
And made prophecies; to you I pray.
When you traveled to your residence of Kyergang,
Awakened Protector and his entourage visibly went with you.
They carried offerings to the lama’s residence
And served you respectfully; to you I pray.
With clairvoyance, you guided beings impartially.
Varuna offered you the nagas’ jewels.
Three times, with perfect purity in the three spheres, you offered all
you had
To please your master; to you I pray.
In Oddiyana, from Lotus Skull-Garlanded Adept [Guru Rinpoché],
You received Great Power Horse Neck’s empowerment and
meditation.
Following Lotus-Born’s directions, you received the entire teaching
From Nyémo Zhuyé; to you I pray.
From Zhangom, around whom dakinis gathered like clouds,
And other masters, you received the Teachings’ profound essence.
With only your meditation, recollection mantras, and water,
You nurtured countless destitute beings; to you I pray.
Emanated and returning light from Eleven-Faced All Seeing One
Purified your own and others’ sickness, demons, and obscurations,
and fostered meditative states.
Padampa Sangyé taught you Pacification of Suffering;
Vajra Creator of Delight’s male and female deities taught you
confession using the vowels and consonants; to you I pray.
