302 Timeless Rapture
You grasped the victory banner of faultless ethical conduct
And guarded with your life even the minor points of training.
You were unrivaled in explanation, debate, and composition
And became widely educated; to you I pray.
You dedicated all your possessions to the Teachings.
Even as a joke, you would not disobey your spiritual masters.
You left aspirations for this life far behind
To devote yourself to single-minded meditation; to you I pray.
On your merely seeing the face of Rigong, Lord of the Teachings,
Sangyé Tönpa,
Uncontrived devotion and sublime meditation welled up in you.
In one week, you achieved the qualities
Of the Six Doctrines; to you I pray.
“You are the first to drink the nectar of the single-disciple lineage,
The fortunate one foretold, first among my circle of disciples.”
Thus you were made the unrivaled holy spiritual heir.
You became an indisputable learned and accomplished master;
to you I pray.
“In this and future lives, you will perform infinite benefit for beings.
In Blissful, you will attain awakening’s fourteenth stage.
Those who preserve your lineage will travel to the celestial realms.”
This is the prophecy you received; to you I pray.
Vajra Sow granted you an introduction to the four empowerments.
When you received Atiyoga teaching, as soon as you had assumed
the gazes,
You reached the full measure of awareness; infinite luminosity arose.
Appearances of delusion dissolved into the absolute expanse; to you
I pray.
You liberated every hindrance and fault into great bliss.
You saw outer and inner appearing existence as infinite purity.
By Tara’s blessing, your meditation and postmeditation merged into
perfect continuity.
