146 Timeless Rapture
Therefore, I will give up the seeming benefit of others that sometimes
appears in this life
And hold my own benefit as supreme.
To live my life devoted entirely to the sacred Teachings:
That’s right! Now I should seriously consider it!

Lord Buddha Vajra Bearer in the form of an accomplished master,
Even to hear your name is very meaningful.
Turn my, your disciple-child’s, mind to the Teachings.
Treasure of compassion, to you I pray.
Now that you have gained a human life
And met a qualified spiritual lord,
If you do not apply yourself to meditation,
There is danger that you will live a meaningless life.
The sovereign of experiential cultivation is devotion.
The sovereign of conducive circumstances is disillusionment.
The sovereign of activity is nonaction.
The sovereign of settling in evenness is natural arising.
This profound instruction of the four sovereigns
