My body and that of the Victor Are not separate, o yogi! My voice and that of the Victor Are not different, o yogi! My mind and that of the Victor Should be realized as one, nondual. The result, the deity’s self-arising form, Inseparable from enlightenment’s three bodies, is great bliss. However, if you don’t give rise to immeasurable devotion, You won’t see the spiritual master’s qualities. If you give rise to ultimate devotion, A Sea of Blessings 113
114 Timeless Rapture The spiritual master, Epitome of the buddhas’ inexhaustible ornaments Of body, speech, and mind, Will bring you to spiritual maturity and liberation. Realize this as the master’s magnificent enlightened activity. Toward the holy master’s Life of freedom, Have only pure vision And not an instant of wrong thoughts. Until you realize the spiritual master as the body of ultimate enlightenment, Apply yourself to sublime accomplishment. The master’s qualities will thereby fully arise. The ultimate life of freedom arises from devotion. Spiritual heirs, my disciples, develop pure vision! The vajra speech that reveals the immortal mind: Self-liberated, noncomposite great bliss— Dharma Singha, at your feet I bow. Realize that the mind that joins luminosity and the deity’s form To the body of ripened karma Has no cause for sickness, nor for death.
