The self-manifest, self-arising, indestructible sound
From Lord Buddha Vajra Bearer, the dakinis,
And the lineage’s accomplished masters in succession
Is meaningful to hear and the source of all blessings.
Therefore, for adepts who dwell in the two phases’ meditations
Or for individuals imbued with wholehearted faith and devotion,
To undertake the recitation of these vajra songs of realization
Causes the Shangpa lineage spiritual masters’ billowing clouds of
blessings to gather.
Hosts of deities’ heavy rains of accomplishment pour continuously.
Dakinis and protectors remove impediments and accomplish
enlightened activity.
Benevolent local protectors are delighted and increase our brilliant
glow.
Malevolent local spirits become meek and are doused with the mind
of awakening’s nectar.
The energy of meditative experience develops and realization is
enriched.
The seed of freedom is planted in those endowed with faith.
To cause such very meaningful fruit to ripen,

With the golden cord of my faith.
