At seventy-eight years of age, you traveled throughout the world
in every direction,
Across oceans, to major and minor continents,
To lands including thirty-five large countries,
Traveling paths traced in space; to you I pray.
You established beings within the Three Buddhist Ways, according
to their needs.
In particular, you founded many large retreat centers.
You spread the doctrine of the six-syllable mantra throughout
the world.
Any connection with you was meaningful; to you I pray.
Especially in the regions of Tibet and China,
You brought back to life the dying embers of the discourses’ and
tantras’ doctrine.
With a prodigious wave of activity, you spread happiness throughout
those lands.
Creator of a festival of benefit and happiness, to you I pray.
At seventy-nine years of age, in the midst of the Kagyu lineage’s
spiritual heirs
And thousands of faithful disciples from throughout the world,
You bestowed the inner tantras of the great Treasury of Precious
Rediscovered Teachings,
Opening the door to spiritual maturity and liberation; to you I pray.
In brief, you merged your mind with those of your incomparable,
sublime masters
And fulfilled their intentions,
Never wavering from the phases of creation and completion and the
mind of awakening.
Holy heir of the Victor, to you I pray.
By this supplication’s blessing,
May I enjoy the glory of both goals, for others and for myself.
May I take miraculous rebirth in the pure land of Blissful
And become a guide and leader for every sentient being.
