The study, which analysed predictions for 2012 on consumerbehaviour around smartphones, digital newspapers, digital tv anddigital radio, found that in the UK, around 86 per cent of users ignoremobile advertising while 79 per cent said that they found theirpresence irritating.21 - <strong>Mobile</strong>Marin Software, a digital advertising management company,found in its quarterly U.S. Online <strong>Advertising</strong> Quarterly Report,that 18% of paid search clicks come from mobile devices, saysGagan Kanwar, director of partnerships and research at MarinSoftware.The report uses data from 1,500-plus advertisers and agenciesthat collectively spend more than $3.5 billion annually onbiddable media, Kanwar says.Within the mobile devices that constitute 18% of all paid searchclicks, Kanwar says smartphones account for 10% and tabletsrepresent the remaining 8%.
