After selecting one of the options above, the user will be returned to theVerification Steps window, and the IDVR step will be marked as complete.Continue processing the electronic applicant as needed.Online Transcripts Activity List Form (SHAEDIS)SHAEDIS now uses the new GOAMTCH form and the Common Matchingalgorithm to assist in matching incoming records to existing Banner records. Inaddition, you can now create a new person record from GOAMTCH for the personon SHAEDIS.Use the following steps to determine if a person on SHAEDIS matches an existingBanner record or if the person can be created as a new record.1. Query for those records where the Status is VERF and the Pending or CompleteIndicator is set to P.2. Select the record to be matched. Perform either a Next Block function, orselect Verify ID from the Options Menu to call GOAMTCH.3. The form will display the ID of the record from SHAEDIS. If this ID alreadyexists in Banner, then you must replace the ID with the word GENERATED.This will allow GOAMTCH to use a generated ID if the person selected onSHAEDIS is new to Banner.4. The value in the Matching Source field will be defaulted from the OnlineMatching Source field on GORCMUS for the user ID. If the user ID is allowedto use other matching source codes (based on the setting of the Allow OtherMatching Sources checkbox on GORCMUS), then you can change the valueon the Matching Source field on GOAMTCH.5. Use a Next Block to populate the Data Entry block with all of the data for theincoming transcript record that is present in the temporary tables.6. You can update or adjust the data in the Data Entry block if it does not meetyour institution’s data standards. These updates will be copied back to thetemporary tables and used when the prospect's record is created.7. The incoming person’s transcript record can be a match, a potential match, ora new record:(a)(b)(c)If the incoming transcript is found to be a match to someone in Banner,the Banner record will be displayed in the Match block.If the incoming transcript is found to be a possible match against morethan one existing Banner record, then all of the possible matches will bedisplayed in the Potential Matches window.If the transcript is found to be a new record, an Alert Box will be displayedwith a message asking if you want to create the new person.Student Release 7.0 January 2005164 Release Guide Confidential
