Section 13 Problem ResolutionsRegistration ModuleSGASTDN (#88399)When you accessed GUASYST from SGASTDN, the ID that appeared in GUASYSTwas the previous one used by that form, not the ID from SGASTDN. The ID fromSGASTDN is now carried to GUASYST. Resolved in Release 7.0.SGASTDN (#94244)GOPVALT1.sql was causing improper error messages to appear with Value-BasedSecurity. This has been corrected.Previously, the concept for VBS access was that a recruit record, admissions record,or a general student record already existed for the person. The record was one towhich the user did not have access. Consequently, the user could not access thatperson at all, even to add a valid row, (one to which the user did have access). ThePIDM was unavailable for that module. Now, the concept has changed so that thePIDM will always be available for the addition of a valid row, (one to which the userhas access). Banner will no longer check the existing rows for the validity of accessto that person (PIDM). Resolved in Release 7.0.Object:Access ViewSGVSTD2 (#88056)Certain GPA-related substring functions had not been modified to accommodatethe larger values that can now be used as a result of the Expanded Credit Hour andGPA functionality. The result was that the view AS_STUDENT_DATA could potentiallyreturn null values for GPA fields. The necessary modifications have now been addedto this view. Resolved in Release 6.1.Registration ModuleFormsSFAALST (#45466)The ID global variable (the ID of the last student queried) was not being populatedcorrectly, and as a result, was not being used when student information was queriedfrom the Class Attendance Roster Form (SFAALST). To correct this, changes weremade in the Options Maintenance Form (GUAOPTM). No form changes wererequired on SFAALST. The ID of the student associated with the row the cursor isplaced on will now be used to populate the Key Block of the General PersonIdentification Form (SPAIDEN) when using the ID, Names, and Addresses option.Resolved in Release 6.1.Student Release 7.0 January 2005346 Release Guide Confidential
