Section 3 Concurrent Curricula Phase I - FunctionalNew Curriculum Window and BlocksCurriculum Summary and Field of Study Summary Blocks - (SRARECR,SAAADMS, SGASTDN, SHADEGR)Curriculum Summary and Field of Study Summary blocks have been added to themain windows of SRARECR, SAAADMS, SGASTDN, and SHADEGR. These blocksare query only for the ID in the Key Block. You need to access the Curriculumwindow in these forms to insert or delete curriculum records.The Curriculum Summary and Field of Study Summary blocks display the mostrecent curriculum data for each priority if the curriculum row is ACTIVE. Theblocks display the critical curriculum fields so that users can quickly determine whatcurricula the learner is pursuing without having to use the Curricula tab to view theseparate Curriculum window. In order to make it easier for users to identify whichcurriculum records have been backfilled into the primary and secondarycurriculum fields, the key words Primary or Secondary are displayed next to theCurriculum Summary block title to identify these two rows.These blocks will only display the appropriate fields for curriculum rows for themodule from which it is being called. For example, if the window is called fromSAAADMS, then only curriculum rows where the module code is ADMISSIONSwould be returned. Access the Learner Curriculum Query Form (SOILCUR) to seeall the possible fields that exist for the window. You can use the Options Menu onthe forms with curriculum data to access SOILCUR and view curriculuminformation for all modules.Curriculum and Field of Study Mini-Blocks - (SRAQUIK, SAAQUIK)Curriculum and Field of Study mini-blocks have been added to SRAQUIK andSAAQUIK in place of the separate Curriculum window. This allows you to enter ordelete curriculum data quickly, without having to navigate to another tabbedwindow. These new mini-blocks contain the key fields required to create acurriculum record. These blocks are mini-versions of the Curriculum and Field ofStudy blocks found in the Curriculum window on SRARECR, SAAADMS,SGASTDN, SFAREGS, and SHADEGR. Data entered in these blocks still updates theSORLCUR and SORLFOS tables. You can use the Options Menu on the forms withcurriculum data to access SOILCUR and view curriculum information for allmodules.Note: Due to limitations in Oracle 10G, forms with curriculum data could notcontain both the Curriculum and Field of Study mini-blocks and theseparate Curriculum window at the same time.January 2005 <strong>Student</strong> <strong>Release</strong> <strong>7.0</strong>Confidential <strong>Release</strong> <strong>Guide</strong> 93
