Section 13 Problem ResolutionsAcademic History ModuleSHRIGRS (#61547)SHRIGRS was reporting some students as not enrolled who actually had graduatedwith four-year degrees. This was caused by a missing where degree status =awarded clause in the subquery select min(a.shrdgmr_grad_date) of theget_graduate function. If a second SHRDGMR record existed for a person for a bachelor's degree whichhad never been awarded, and that record had an earlier graduation date (populatedby the Grade Roll Process from the expected graduation date in SGBSTDN), the"real" degree-awarded record was not selected, because it did not have the earliestgraduation date. The subquery should have selected the earliest graduation datewhere the degree was awarded. This has been corrected. Resolved in Release 6.2.SHRROLL (#82235)When the process was run with the Print Selection parameter set to E (Error), thereport did list the student and the grade that were in error, but the report omittedthe CRN information. You could not tell which CRN was in error. This has beencorrected. Resolved in Release 6.2.sSHRRPTS andSHKRPT1(#57324)Several issues related to use of transfer courses by repeat processing have beencorrected.• SHRRPTS had a problem with a repeat situation involving a transfer course ifand only if a repeat situation also existed with an institutional course. This hasbeen corrected. If a transfer course is the only course in student's history thatwill present a repeat situation, the institutional course and the transfer coursewill print with the appropriate notation that it is a possible transfer case.• If the only course to be selected as a repeat in the student's academic historywas a transfer course, repeat processing did not select that student forevaluation. This has been corrected.• In addition, the Repeat (Indicator) was not always updated in SHATRNS whenthe report was run in update mode.• Issues related to the calculation of GPAs (SHKCPGA) for repeated transfercourses were also addressed.Resolved in Release 6.2.SHRRPTS andSHKRPT1(#90244)The student was not listed on the report if there was only one course whichexceeded or equaled the minimum evaluation grade on SHARPTR for all repeatedcourses. While this problem resolution only referred to minimum grades, the samesituation occurred when there were different levels, titles, and schedule type errors. This has been corrected. Resolved in Release 6.2.January 2005 Student Release 7.0Confidential Release Guide 381
