Section 3 Concurrent Curricula Phase I - FunctionalDetails of Concurrent Curricula Foundation• The curriculum status for the learner is updated in General Student based onthe student status. These codes come from STVSTST. If no valid codes exist onSTVSTST, then no updated curriculum row will be created.• The curriculum status for the learner outcome is updated in Academic Historywhen the degree status is modified. These codes come from STVDEGS. Seeddata values are used when a degree status is changed to awarded, and no validcodes exist on STVDEGS.For example, when a student’s application is institutionally accepted, the mostrecent SORLFOS rows with that application sequence number (key sequencenumber) will be duplicated if they are active, and the new curriculum status will bederived from STVAPDC. If no curriculum status code has been associated with the“institution acceptance” decision code, a curriculum status code of INSTACCEPTwill be used. This gives the institution a complete picture of the student’scurriculum.
