Section 13 Problem ResolutionsAdmissions Module• The Match Only on SSN and Last Name parameter was set to Y (for Yes), andthe SSN or Generated ID parameter was set to S (for SSN).• The incoming Web application had the same SSN as an existing SSN withinBanner.• That existing Banner SSN was also that person's Banner ID.Because the value in the Match Only on SSN and Last Name parameter was Y andthe value in the SNN or Generated ID parameter was S, the incoming record wouldhave been marked as New. However, since the incoming record's SSN equaled anexisting Banner ID, duplicate records were being created. Now, even if a record isfound to be New based on the matching algorithm, it will be marked as Suspended ifthe SSN matches an existing Banner ID. Resolved in Release 6.1.SAKMTCH (#72839)When SRRSRIN is run with the Match Only on SSN and Last Name parameter set toY, it will no longer update the match status to M (Match) and leave the PIDM null.Resolved in Release 6.1.SAKMTCH (#88853)For columns where you could specify the match length in SORINFR, there were twodifferent methods used, and they did not necessarily produce the same results.
