Section 13 Problem ResolutionsCAPP ModuleSMRCMPL (#82385)Previously, when a program was processed in Multiple Entity mode, and a course wasflagged as potentially used because it did not satisfy an entire requirement that waspart of an OR condition, it was released to be used in another area. In Single Entitymode, the course was correctly used only in the area in which the Potential Usage(Indicator) had been set. This has been corrected. Resolved in Release 6.2.SMRCMPL (#73545)Previously, when a waiver that had its Count (Indicator) unchecked on STVACTNwas used within a rule, the requirement was not marked as met. If this same waivercode was applied to a non-rule requirement, the requirement was marked as met.Modifications have been made to ensure that such waiver codes will be usedconsistently, regardless of the type of requirement to which they are applied.Resolved in Release 6.2.SMRCMPL (#87884)Previously, when a course attribute alone was used to define the requirement in arule, and there was a maximum number of courses with that attribute allowed, themaximum number of courses was sometimes exceeded with the additional course(s)listed with the Potential Usage (Indicator) checked. The credits from the extracourse(s) were counted toward the area and program totals. This has beencorrected. Resolved in Release 6.2.SMRCMPL (#75009)Previously, when rules-within-rules were used, the main rule umbrella was beingsatisfied, but its maximum credit allowance was being exceeded. This has beencorrected. Resolved in Release 6.2SMRCMPL (#74723)Previously, when a rule had a mixture of attached courses and rules-within-rules, andthe student did not have sufficient courses to complete the overall rule, compliancemight not have used the maximum number of available courses in the rule. This hasbeen corrected. Resolved in Release 6.2SMRCMPL (#89192)Previously, when a course had both lab (one credit) and lecture (three credits)components, and the requirement in a rule was for four credits or two courses, thesame course credits were returned for both the lab and lecture. This situation hasbeen corrected. Resolved in Release 6.2.SMRCMPL,SMKCGPA(#77133)When an area's requirements are defined using set/subset logic within a rule, evenif a requirement is not completely met, compliance will now use applicable coursesfor the requirement. Resolved in Release 6.1.Student Release 7.0 January 2005394 Release Guide Confidential
